It's common for our attention to be fixed on something or someone in a way that prevents us from being willing and able to attend to our lives now and choose possibilities that honor, nurture and support us. One place our attention can be stuck is in the give and take reality. When you're functioning from the give and take reality, people, places and things are trying to take your attention, usually in a competitive way. You get to decide what and who you are going to give your attention to, and what or who you are going to deny or refuse to give your attention to. It's a model created in a world where you are given limited time, energy, and attention. You only have so much time, energy and attention so you should choose wisely who and what you give your attention to. If you give your time and attention to the wrong things or people you will be punished in some way, either by yourself or someone else. If you give your time and attention to the right things and people you will be rewarded and get to feel good, right and justified in the decisions you made. When you are functioning from this reality its stressful, as there are usually a lot of conflicting ideas and priorities, and values. You feel like you're doing the right thing, yet on another level you feel like it's never enough, or that you're missing something, or that you don't know what to give your attention to, or feel trapped in having to use all of your energy to protect yourself or prevent people, places or things from taking too much of your time, energy or attention.
Is now the time to attend to possibilities? Is now the time to free up your attention from the give and take reality? Also, is now the time to free up your attention from the reality of judgment? In the reality of judgment there is good attention and bad attention. You want to get the good attention and not bad attention. You will often carry judgments from others of having been given too much attention or not enough attention. Some of us were judged as having all the attention or taking too much time, energy and attention from others. Others of us were judged as not being given enough attention and supplied with reasons and justifications for that such as you're bad, you're unworthy, you're not good enough or you don't deserve it. What would it be like to step beyond the reality of judgment and have ease choosing something different? And as a note, when we step beyond something it doesn't mean it no longer exists here on the planet, it just means we are no longer dominated, manipulated or controlled by it. We are no longer aligning and agreeing or resisting or reacting to it in a way that keeps us bound to it. With the perspective that comes from choosing beyond a reality, we can be aware of how the it functions and how to respond to it or participate in regards to it. What reality are you ready to step beyond? What are you now ready to receive and have in your life?
Imagine that right now you could take a deep breath, put the reality of give and take and the reality of judgement out in front of you and step beyond it. Beyond these realities you have access to unlimited energy, space and consciousness. You can attend to many people, places and things simultaneously, so you are free from competition and limitation. From a linear time perspective, you choose moment to moment what to attend to. You are attending to everything from a space of contribution, so as you are gifting you are simultaneously receiving. As you gift energy to someone or something you are receiving energy, often in a way that's generative, which means you are actually generating energy through your activities and interactions. Instead of being in a world where you're either giving too much time, energy and attention to something or someone or not enough time, energy and attention to something or someone, you are being and doing what's required and desired. You are choosing the possibilities that are being presented to you and receiving the awareness of what that's creating. There is the ease of following your awareness and trusting what you know. Being you becomes a possibility and committing to your life becomes a choice. You step into the action of living, being completely resourced, available to receive the gifts from the world, the earth and the universe in a way that you would have once named as miraculous. The walls of separation comes down, isolation becomes a distant memory and the joy of life and living ignites from within. Would you like to attend to possibilities and become aware of choices that you have available that you may not have acknowledged or considered?
