Many of us have lived, or know of people who live in what can be named as the "just be positive and everything will work out" reality. When we learn more about the law of attraction, and the reality of mirroring, or that the universe will mirror the vibrations you carry, thinking positive and feeling positive emotions became the answer or solution. We were taught to exclude, defend against, or turn away from the negative or bad thoughts, feelings and emotions and turn towards the positive ones. This was given as the way to improve your life, avoid negative circumstances and outcomes and have what you desire in life. This approach is effective when your focus has been predominately negative, focusing on what you don't want and don't like and the people you're upset with or wish were different. By redirecting your focus onto what you do like, what you do appreciate, what you desire to have and what you're most grateful for can assist to improve the quality of your life.
Often with this approach at some point you'll hit a wall. Even if you think good thoughts, feel good feelings and have a gratitude list and talk about what you love, there will come a time when you'll feel stuck or stagnant and won't know why. You're doing, thinking, feeling and saying all the "right" things and it's just not working to create good and positive life circumstances. The tendency is to get caught in this thought loop of: what is wrong with me? What am I missing? and most likely you'll go into a comparison mindset such as thinking things like: it's working for them, why isn't working for me? What's really going on here, is that it's time to develop the capacity to be in allowance of all of you, what can be named as the good, the bad and the ugly (as Gary Douglas, the founder of Access Consciousness would say). Are you willing to be in allowance of the good, the bad, and the ugly? This opens the door for a common phrase in access "all of life comes to me with ease, and joy and glory," to become true. It's the space where you can have ease, joy and glory being all of you and receiving your life circumstances, as well as accessing your talents, gifts and abilities to change them and choose something different.
So, if you happen to be in the be positive and not negative trap and you're feeling stuck or stressed, one thing you can try is to get curious about this space of allowance, it's a space where you're not aligning and agreeing or resistance and reacting to the thoughts, feelings and emotions you're having. The Being that you are, the Consciousness you are can include all of it. The technique of exclusion, regardless of whether it appears to be a good and right approach, will eventually fail because that exclusion maintains the energies of rejection, separation, expectation and judgment in your reality.
Would you like to be more clear about what's true for you? Often we can get confused or stuck in an attempt to establish what we desire, where to place our focus and attention and how to respond to what shows up in our lives that we don't prefer. Contrast can be defined as something that you don't desire to have in your life. Say for instance you're having a visit with a friend and they aren't paying attention or are preoccupied with something else going on in their life. This contrast can serve a reminder of what you appreciate such as being with someone who is paying attention, open and receptive to listen and to offer, to gift and receive, as you choose to gift and receive, creating a space and energy of contribution. So, the contrast can serve to inspire clarity, knowing what you prefer, what you desire and what you appreciate.
What is something in your life right now that you wish was different? Who in your life right now do you wish were different? Instead of being stuck wishing, or being frustrated, or desiring to separate or reject the people, places or things in your life, you can choose to ask for something different. Place your attention on what you would like to have, that this contrast is assisting to bring to your attention. Acknowledge what shows up, feel what you feel, then place your attention on what you desire to have. Again, by asking: what is this highlighting that I prefer, desire or appreciate? Another example would be someone being harsh or critical and feeling annoyed that they are that way or wishing they would change. In that moment you can acknowledge how you feel and then step into the space of asking for more kindness and gentleness to show up in your life. What else do you desire to have more of? What could you be or do to invite more of that into your life?
So, in summary, acknowledge the experience you're having, receive what is here, and allow any contrast to inspire you to gain clarity of what you prefer, desire, or would appreciate to have more of in your life. If someone cuts you off in traffic, acknowledge any thoughts and feelings you have in response to that, then choose to name what you prefer, state what you appreciate, express what you desire to have or be. It may be ease with driving, having appreciation for the people around you, having a sense of fluidity where everything is moving with ease, harmony in your environment, peace and calm within etc. How much more can you welcome and invite in what you desire, appreciate and prefer?
Being a surrogate is about carrying something on someone else's behalf. Many of us who are empaths or healers carry the pain and suffering of others. When we worry about others, in an attempt to show love or demonstrate caring, we shut of our flow of universal energy. It is a fear based model of displaying love and carrying, which is actually not self-loving and self-caring. True love and true caring includes everyone involved. The energy of the love and the energy of caring is circulated and benefits all. Worry diminishes and depletes the self in the name of caring for another. It is no longer viable. For many of us, we can no longer use our energy in this way.
What if now is the time to release all roles, jobs and commitments to be a mental, emotional and energetic surrogate? We now have a choice to claim mental, emotional and energetic responsibility for our lives, and to empower others with choice. Taking things on in the guise of helping is no longer a viable option. As we release these roles, jobs and commitments to surrogacy new possibilities can be presented to us. There are different ways to witness each other. We can learn to directly ask for support, and allow others to ask us, rather than assuming or imposing or giving something without their request because we think we know what they need. We offer when the request is there, honoring boundaries, asking for and giving permission consciously and directly. I wonder what's possible as we meet each other in new ways, receiving the gifts we've cultivated, strengthening our self-love and self-care that benefits all through our transmissions of true love and caring.
The moment we acknowledge something we can invite the presence of consciousness to transmute it. When we've given control to the mind or mental body to prevent us from experiencing something, it locks it in place and constricts our life to such a degree that we can't express and "be" who we truly are. So, the invitation today is to take a look at the energy of let down. It is a frequency that is often present in the moment when a need wasn't met, or a desire wasn't fulfilled. It's there when we were alone and expected, hoped or believed that someone would be there. It's there when we asked for help and didn't get it in a way that supported us to alleviate our pain and suffering, it just made it worse. It's there when people didn't have our best interests at heart and lead us in directions that served their desires at the cost of ours. It's there when we turned away from our hearts and desires and did what we felt obligated to do. It's there when we thought we had no choice and shut ourselves and our lives down in the name of doing what they told us to do. It's there when we finally found something or someone that we thought would help us, and followed the protocol or advice or recommendation or strategy to a tee and it didn't make a difference. It's there when we felt hopeless, like no matter what we did nothing would change, or it's there when we finally trusted someone or committed to something and it didn't work out the way we hoped or thought it would.
Take a deep breath. Acknowledge anywhere and everywhere the vibration and frequency of let down has showed up in your life. Choose to invite the energy, space and consciousness of you in to meet that vibration and frequency and transmute it. As a Being of Consciousness, you have the capacity to transmute energy. Release your mind or someone or something else that you may have assigned the job of handling this for you. Allow and invite the consciousness you truly be to handle it. Invite the universe in, to truly have your back and meet you in this grand moment of NOW, where true change is possible.
What would it be like if you could trust and know that your needs would be met and desires fulfilled? What would it be like to allow the frequency and vibration of let down to be transmuted, healed and released? What if you don't have to carry this any longer, no matter what happened or didn't happen in your life? Now is the time to free up our energy to be available to commit to our lives now, so that we can be here, embodied, and ready to receive what's possible. Our future selves/higher selves can gift us with new possibilities. We can have our hearts desires fulfilled. We can have our true needs met. It is possible. As the vibration of let down is lifted out from our energy fields, ask and receive can be restored. How much more can we all thrive? Is now the time?
If you find yourself stepping into moments of overwhelm, often what's occurring is that you're acknowledging what you're thinking and feeling as well as being aware of what many other people are thinking and feeling. If you feel conflicted or confused it's an indicator that you are aware of multiple perspectives simultaneously. It is a gift to be aware of what's going on for the people around us. It can facilitate intimacy, and make it possible to be tuned in with people we care about and respond to their requests with awareness and gentleness. Where things get tricky is when we are in the stage of not yet acknowledging how much we're aware of what's going on for the people around us. We can get caught believing everything we think and feel belongs to us and we need to handle it. It's a recipe for overwhelm.
Right now take a deep breath, call you in, and direct the thoughts, feelings and emotions of the people and collective fields around you out of your energy field. Expand out, call more of you in, expand out, call even more of you in, expand out, expand out, expand out. Energetically, as you do this, you will access more of the space of you, so that you can perceive the energy of you and access the consciousness of you that is magic. As the energy, space and consciousness of you, you have the capacity to transmute energies, transform realities, and so much more. The first, and most important step in managing overwhelm is to acknowledge you, turn up the volume on you and turn down the volume on your awareness. You can't not have the awareness you have of the people and realities around you, however, you can learn how to know what's true for you and work with your awareness to be and create magic in your life. Is now the time to show up as you and be the gift you came here to be? Ask for that and see what shows up.

How often does it feel like people are reading off imaginary scripts, filled with what they are supposed to say, or what they think they should say, or the right thing to say? Or people are trying to say and think and do what they think will bring the desired results or outcomes in their lives. It has this inauthentic feel to it, like they are imitating, or repeating someone else's words, or trying to mimic someone else's approach or behaviors. What if we don't have to do this any longer?
What if now is the time for un-scripted living? What if you could have the joy of not knowing what you're going to say until you say it? Are you willing to trust yourself enough to step into that? This is truly an energetic (and written) invitation for you to unleash your brilliance. You can bring forth your highest wisdom and insights that are coming through too fast for your mind to process and analyze. Thus, if you try to think it through before delivering it, it'll be filtered, watered down, and less potent and relevant to the moment that you're in. It's time to throw out the control on speech, especially now that we can access our consciousness, and receive the wisdom of our higher selves, and a more universal perspective. We will no longer blurt out non-sense or speak unkindness, instead we'll be out of control enough to really show up for the moment we're in without the script, and preconceived ideas about what we should say. What if "freedom of speech" is something totally different than what we thought it was? Are you willing to have true freedom of speech? I wonder what that would be for you.
Un-scripted living is about letting go of the scripts that prevent you from having access to the energy of you, the joy of you, the authenticity of you. Now more then ever, it's time to step beyond what we've inherited from others, and reach into the cosmos, reach into our hearts, ask for Divine Knowing, Intuition, Infinite Intelligence, our Higher Self, our Over Soul, whatever word each of us would use to "cue" us to tap into a different source, so we don't have to rely on inherited scripts any longer. We can play in the field of miracles, in the space of possibilities where true choice exists. The energy, space and consciousness is here, the time is now. Yay for un-scripted living!
Often the feeling of being stuck, or unable to move forward is accompanied with a sense of frustration, or upset, or confusion, or need to fix, change, heal or correct something. In may collective fields there is a perception or belief that it's wrong to be stuck and good to be moving forward in life. Stuck is often the place you or we are trying to get out of or escape from. What if something else is actually going on? What if somewhere you know what lies ahead in your life's journey and there are some resources you require to gain from where you are before you choose to take those steps or make a move?
What if there is something here for you, right where you are, waiting for you to acknowledge it and receive it? What resources are you equipping yourself with for the journey ahead? They may be physical resources, mental resources, emotional resources or spiritual resources. Truly, what if right now, in the experiences you're having you are being gifted valuable resources to assist you in your life to come? What if life truly is that miraculous? What if you do know something about the future?
So, if you every find yourself feeling stuck, like you can't move forward, instead of getting swept up in a state of hopelessness, or frustration or confusion, you can ask yourself the question: What inner and outer resources am I being gifted with for my life's journey ahead? How different would your life be if you know that everything was here to help you? What if you're not truly stuck, instead you're pausing to resource yourself so you can truly embrace what's to come and thrive in yet unimaginable ways?
